The Supplier Performance Manager (SPM) plays a critical role in ensuring our contracted suppliers consistently deliver value to our members. By monitoring supplier performance, managing scorecards, and serving as a key escalation point, this role helps strengthen supplier partnerships and ensures our members receive high-quality, reliable outcomes that support their institutional goals.

What You Will Do
The Supplier Performance Manager (SPM) is responsible for executing E&I’s supplier performance strategy within assigned categories. This role monitors supplier performance within assigned categories and provides reporting on the performance. The SPM will be the final internal escalation point for supplier performance issues that are not able to be resolved in other units and will collaborate with Sourcing and Growth and Engagement teams to drive resolution.

How You Will Do It
Supplier Performance (50%)
- Maintain annual supplier scorecards to assess contract health and supplier performance.
- Prepare and deliver presentations for suppliers, internal stakeholder and others, outlining strategic insights and methods to enhance the supplier performance for increasing overall scorecard results.
- Manage corrective action plans and support renewal/amendment processes.
Contract Compliance & Optimization (20%)
- Ensure suppliers meet overall contractual obligations.
- Support Sourcing managers in RFx development, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Maintain documentation and performance reports.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (30%)
- Partner with Category Management, GET, and Legal to resolve supplier issues and report supplier performance.
- Participate in Sourcing team initiatives.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in supplier management, sourcing, or contract administration.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with supplier performance, scorecards and segmentation models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of general sourcing software such as Jaggaer, Ariba, Coupa, etc. and helpful to have experience with Salesforce.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with cooperative sourcing and public sector procurement preferred and strong commercial experience required.
